Welcome To Bishop’s Stortford
The quaint, grade II listed Hertfordshire showroom dates back to 1837; on the cusp of the Georgian period, and was originally a green grocer’s. You can still get a feel for the history in this humble building. With its beautifully exposed oak beams and the original internal brickwork, which has been beautifully preserved. The interior gracefully complements our handmade furniture.
Historic Market Town
To give you a real feel for life with a Blackstone kitchen, this showroom has been designed and set out as a complete kitchen. Featuring a functional island with stools, perfect for sitting with us to discuss your project. With our Butler’s Pantry situated just behind, complete with a coffee machine, it’s the perfect place to begin planning your new kitchen with us. The modest size is not to be overlooked, as the encompassing south-facing glass front, floods the room with sunshine all day. Showing off our range of hand painted colours on display.
Above: We have 24 colours in our paint range, but our Lead Colour 118 and French Grey 113 are a match made in heaven. These tried and tested colour combinations have a great harmony.
Free parking is available opposite, and with the train station only a quick, five-minute walk away; we are perfectly suited to serve Hertfordshire and beyond. To avoid disappointment, we advise pre-booking an appointment with us, as we are occasionally out on home design meetings. Call our studio today, to book your personal design consultation with Rob Dunn, owner and operator of the Hertfordshire showroom, and long-time member of the Blackstone family.
Please bring the kids and the dog, everyone is welcome!

“Thank you to Rob and the team for creating and installing our beautiful new kitchen! From the first contact to the final finishing the customer service was fantastic, with helpful and responsive designers through to Graeme who did a great job with the installation, and provided help and guidance every step of the way. We’ve been delighted with the quality of the work and the service we’ve received. Even when a couple of issues cropped up which required a change in design Rob and team took it all in their stride and were really helpful and solution focused. Thoroughly recommended, thank you Blackstone!”
